Hello there!

These are the clan rules of HoA. Please read them carefully before writing your application to the clan. You should also note that we use a 3-point warning system. Violating a rule will result in a warning, where three warnings will lead to a kick out from the clan without further notice. Depending on the severity of the incident, you may receive multiple warnings.

HoA Clan Rules

Proper Behaviour

Insulting, flaming or being high tempered with other members is completely prohibited. In HoA we expect all members to show respect to other clan mates, any and all disrespect will be taken very seriously by the administration to maintain a friendly and fun atmosphere in the clan. We also do not tolerate cheating/hacking in games in any form or way.

As such, you don't post racist, sexist or other discriminating content on our forums, on our TeamSpeak 3 server or other communications we use in HoA. Respect one another with understanding and maturity.

The use of third-party software is forbidden in any of the games that we support. The consequences of this action will be discussed amongst the Community Administration as well as the section admins in which the incident occurs.

Activity

Our activity standard on the forums is that you need to log in and read on the most important threads, such as events and community news, at least once every 7 days.

You also need to be online on TeamSpeak regularly, which is the voice communication software we use in HoA. It's easier than you might think, considering the fact that we host weekly clan events.

If you are going away for a period of time, please report your absence in our "Going Away? Let us know!" sub-forum.

Forum

Keep discussion relevant on the HoA forums. We have multiple sub-forums for that reason. If you think that there's a forum missing, let us know and we can add it, or post in the "General Discussion" sub-forums.

You also are not allowed to advertise for other gaming clans or communities on our forums, neither on other communications we use in HoA.

Have fun!

This is the most important rule. Our main objective with this clan is for you to learn and have fun, so make sure you knock yourself out and do it well! http://www.forum.clan-hoa.com/images/smilies/smile.png

Let us know if there's any questions!
- The HoA Administration

In this thread you'll be able to find specific rules pertaining each respective section:
These are the new HoA:LoL clan rules. Please read these carefully.
Violating a rule will result in either an instant kick, or danger of being kicked.

The Rules

1) You need to be online on the forums at least once every 7 days and reading as much as possible. If you are going to be away for any reason, please post in the "Going away, let us know!" sub-forum. Failure to do so will place you in danger of removal at ANY time.

2) You need to be online on TeamSpeak at least once every 7 days. It is preferred you are on regularly. After all, HoA is a social gaming community and therefore everyone should be socialising together, making friends so that people can have a better social experience overall. Failure to do so will place you in danger of removal at ANY time.

2a) You need to be capable of verbal communication on TeamSpeak. It is difficult, aggravating, and sometimes insulting to type when people are talking, or forcing them to switch between windows constantly to read, when you should simply talk.
2b) The DnD rooms are only to be used for less than 1/2 of the time you spend on TeamSpeak. The amount of time they are meant to be used varies with the person based on how active they are in general on Teamspeak public rooms, but the use of [DnD] rooms are meant to be minimal.

3) Insulting, flaming or being high tempered with other members is completely prohibited. We are all friends here in HoA. Depending on the severity of this situation, you could be instantly kicked if deemed appropriate by the administration.

4) 'Leaving' threads, where members state they are leaving HoA, or a fellow person states they are leaving, are not allowed. Any threads where someone states they are simply leaving will be removed on sight and the poster will be removed as per his/her desire to leave. If the poster is not the same individual as the one who is leaving, the poster will be warned first then punished if they already knew this.

5) Encouragement toward each other to commit, or shedding in a positive light, illegal activities in a public discussion is prohibited.

6a) All members are to be a part of the HoA:LoL Member Skype Group.
6b) All who leave the HoA:LoL Member Skype Group, without direct permission from an admin, will be removed from HoA:LoL entirely.

7) Have fun! This is the main objective of this clan as we are a social gaming community so make sure you have a laugh :)

Note: Being kicked from HoA:LoL for inactivity does not kick you from other HoA games you have signed up on, so you still are a part of them.

If you have any questions at all regarding these rules, HoA:LoL or anything else, let me know!
These are the new HoA: SC clan rules. Please read these carefully. Something to note is that we use a 3-point warning system, however, if a certain rule is broken you will be instantly kicked from the clan if deemed appropriate by the administration. Violating a rule will result in a warning; a total of 3 warnings will lead to you being kicked from the clan.

The Rules

1). You need to be on-line on the forums reading posts at least once every 2 weeks and posting as much as possible. If you are going to be away for any reason, please post in the "Going away, let us know!" sub-forum.

2). You need to be on-line on Teamspeak regularly. This means whenever you decide to play. After all, HoA is a social gaming community and therefore everyone should be socialising together, making friends so that people can have a better social experience overall.

3). Insulting, flaming or being high tempered with other members is completely prohibited. We are all friends here in HoA. Depending on the severity of this situation, you could be instantly kicked if deemed appropriate by the administration.

4). You must not cheat. This prohibits any use of a third party program that would give you an unfair advantage in-game. For an example: map-hacking. Any form of cheating is frowned upon not only in HoA, but in the StarCraft II community also. This will most likely result in you being kicked from HoA.

5). You need to try and improve your skills and playing SC2 regularly. If you feel that you do not want to play on the ladder or have ladder anxiety, play with a friend! You can watch replays together, receive tips, discuss the match etc.

6). Have fun! This is the main objective of this clan as we are a social gaming community so make sure you have a laugh. http://www.forum.clan-hoa.com/images/smilies/smile.png

If you have any questions at all regarding these rules, HoA: SC or anything else, let me know!

These are the new rules in the Diablo III section of Horsemen of Apocalypse. Please read these carefully as violating a rule could result in a warning or a removal from the clan.

1.) You need to be reading and/or posting on the forums at least once a week. The forums are where you can catch up on the latest news, events and join in on discussions.
2.) You need to be using the voice communication software TeamSpeak once a week. This is because, firstly, we think it is a more fun, social and personal way of communicating with other members. Secondly, it brings our community together and is an effective way of getting to know one another.
3.) We do not support the use of third party software or any exploits that violate Blizzard's terms of use. Although we will not remove members for using them, we ask that they will not be encouraged within the community. Links and threads related to third party software on our forums will be removed and members encouraging the use of exploits will receive warnings.
4.) As we aspire to be a friendly and social community, we do not tolerate the insulting, flaming or similar negative activity towards other members. If you have a problem with other members, we ask you to report it to one of our administrators and they will deal with it accordingly.
5.) If you are going to be away from the clan for whatever reason we would like you to make a thread in our "Going Away?" sub-forum, so we can avoid any confusion.

NOTE: We could list rules many pages long, but this can be saved by asking members to use common sense whenever possible and remember that everyone one in the clan is here to enjoy themselves. We ask that you respect other members and you should also expect that same respect back. Should you have any problems, we ask you to let one of our administrators know about it and we will do our best to assist you. Members can be given warnings, and in persistent or extreme cases banned for anything that we think is harmful to the wider community.

1) Common sense
2) Dont be an ass
3) Do not post advertisements for own / private servers
